Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is Mexican-born musician born into a musical family. She spent the majority of her youth listening to classic music and boleros of the past, ranchero traditional or romantic tunes, as well classic classical music. Ana is a lover of tangos and opera, and the dramatic shows that she attends. When she was a child, her mother would sing with her, she started more serious training in vocals at age 16 under the tutelage of renown Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. In the School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico furthered her education in music. She performed at Guadalajara, Mexico City and different cities when she was a young student and professional. She was a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to Southern California. She sings with Ensemble XXI Redlands, and sings Latin American traditional music solo for many private functions. As a teacher and musician Ana is a dedicated participant in many projects in the community due to her enthusiasm and enthusiasm for music. Ana was also a member of both the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is currently a teacher at The Performance Loft. Ana is thankful for having the chance to share her passion and love for the traditional Latin American songs with others as she hopes to impart a desire, especially among younger generations, to help keep this tradition alive.Viva Mexico!
