MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has seen major international breakthroughs into the Latin pop culture. The hit song from 2016 Una Lady Como Tu was the winner of a Colombian Kids Choice Award for Most Popular Song in the year 2017. His debut album ADN was released by La Industria Inc., which is a Medellin-based Sony distribution firm. It reached the top 8 spot within the Top Latin Albums Chart. Vaina Loca, which was the Top Five smash hit in 2010 featured him along with Ozuna. In the year 2020, he worked with Noriel for Mala Influencia and dropped the album Dopamina that year. In 2021, he appeared as a duo with TINI on her streaming hit track Maldita Foto. An album release in 2023 featuring the mega-hit La Bachata. Turizo is a musician born in a home with a music program. His parents and brothers were also musicians. According to him, music was an integral aspect of his daily life. In his early years, he learned to play saxophone guitar ukulele and piano.
